This past weekend the kids made sure that I felt the love for Mother’s Day with treats, a homemade dinner, cleaning up after themselves and homemade cards. I don’t know if I will ever be able to find the words to express how much these three kids mean to me and how lucky I am that have welcomed me with open arms into their world. The fact that always try to make sure I feel special during Mother’s Day weekend always brings happy tears to my eyes. It is something they don’t have to do, nor do I expect it. I will cherish those homemade cards and memories forever. Does anyone else thing homemade cards are so much better than store bought or is it just me?!?!
This weekend was also Leighton’s dance recital! We are all so proud of how wonderful she did!!! I have to say I enjoy watching the little kids dance the best, they are so cute all watching the teacher off stage to see what they need to do next.
And we got so much wedding stuff completed, but there will be another post about that later this week.
Lastly, I want to say Happy Mother’s Day to my mom! Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do.
