Wedding Planning- Update Seven

The days and weeks seem to go by so much faster when you have something big coming up… like a wedding! I swear it feels like the hours in a day have decreased by half lately. My life most days have become consumed with work and wedding planning, so, unfortunately, the blog is going to be a little quiet for the next few weeks or until I get a lot more checked off my to-do list. Speaking of my to-do list, it is out of control- currently about a seven-page word doc. I seem to work the best when I have a list of things that I need to accomplish, something about checking things off motivates and keeps me from forgetting anything. As I was creating the list I realized I hadn’t figured out a table for the cake yet and forgot to order napkins. Also, I realized that I ordered the wrong shade of blue in the invitation pockets and our wax seal the wrong way. But neither of things are that huge of a deal in the big picture, luckily I can just laugh about it versus flipping out.

But on a happy note, our invites are almost completely put together (just waiting for the new wax seal)! We picked out a jr. bridesmaid dress for Camden, she definitely wasn’t as excited as Leighton was but was a trooper trying on dresses. And we booked one of the hotels for our honeymoon!! So here’s to hoping the rest of this week and weekend are productive.
