Wedding Day- One Year and Six Months of Marriage

I cannot believe that Steve and I have been married for one year and six months (plus two days). Some days it feels like our wedding was just last month and other days it feels like we have been married for years. Over the past year and a half, we have had our ups and downs, but there is no one else I would rather laugh, cry, fight, smile or just be around!!

In honor of this milestone, I am sharing pictures from our first dance and our first dance song. Picking out our first dance song was harder than I had initially expected. I would listen to a song, like it, but then I would read the lyrics and be like nope, I don’t like that one phrase they used… this can’t be our song. Steve and I tried to find a more original song than the one we picked but kept coming back to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. Not only did we like the song, but it has always been special to us. When Steve and I first started dating we played hooky from work one day and watched all the Twilight movies and then went to see the last one at the movie theater that night.
