Mother’s Day 2018

Once again the kids and Steve did a wonderful job of making sure I felt loved for Mother’s Day. They all do a great job of making sure I feel loved all the time, but they really outdid themselves this weekend. On Friday we went out to dinner, yes no dirty dishes!!! And to a local nursery, where each of the kids picked out a plant for me, it was cute seeing them try to figure out which one they wanted to get and the reasons why. Saturday morning I came out of my room to a banner that Camden and Leighton made with all the reasons they love me, plus breakfast! They may not call me mom, but that doesn’t mean that Jared, Camden, and Leighton aren’t my world!! I’m so lucky that I get to be their stepmom and grateful that they make sure I feel loved… not just for Mother’s Day, but all the time! I just hope they always know how much I love them and how much they have changed my life for the better.
