Happy Halloween and Painting Pumpkins

I’m not a huge fan of Halloween, I don’t dislike it… it’s just not on the top of my list. I still pass out candy and buy the good kind, so I’m not one of those people. So with that being said, we don’t go all out on Halloween, but one thing we always do is paint pumpkins! And of course I put out a few banners, decorations and pumpkins, but more fallish than Halloweenish. But back to pumpkins that we previously picked at the patch, while carving pumpkins are fun- it is nice to have our own tradition with the kids of painting them. Every year we put out all of our paints, turn on a movie (or this year the U of M football game) and paint away. I love how into it the kids get… I even talked Jared into still painting one this year!
