May 14, 2019I’m the type of person that if I'm only going to use something for a short amount of time, I'm not going to buy it- I can thank Marie Kondo's book for that. So I was never one to buy a lot of candles, no matter how cute I thought they were. But when I realized that I could repurpose the containers after I was done burning a wonderful smelling candle… I was all about it. The candle containers I used for this DIY project were from Sweet Wick Candle Company .
This is such an easy, quick DIY project that can brighten your whole day, who doesn't love looking at a plant in cute containers all throughout your home??
You could do this DIY project with any type of plant, I picked succulents since they seem to be the only house plant I can keep alive! After you clean out the candle containers, follow the easy steps below to create your own house repurposed candle container house plant. Step 1: gather all your supplies
Step 2: fill old candle jars with rocks
Make sure the bottom is covered with rocks
Step 3: add soil on top of rocks
Step 4: add a succulent
Step 5: add extra dirt around succulent to fill in candle container
Step 6: make sure you wet the soil
